Onyx Armor is a privately held, Hispanic American, minority owned, certified Hub Zone, small business. The owners and leadership team at Onyx Armor work full time managing and directing the armor business. We are not private equity owned and are not involved in multiple product categories. Our only priority is saving lives. We design and manufacture the most comfortable, best performing NIJ certified armor in the world.

Onyx Armor operates in a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Miami, FL. We design our own ballistic systems and certify to the NIJ 0101.06 standard. 100% of Onyx Armor manufactured systems including carriers are manufactured in the United States utilizing the best in Computer Operated Design (CAD), automated Gerber cutting, Laser cutting and programable sewing machines. Our customers are law enforcement, first responders, federal agencies, security officers and military personnel. Onyx Armor was established in 2010 and has manufactured over 200,000 Armor Systems since opening our new facility in early 2017 and in addition, has performed as a subcontractor for various products to support programs with the U.S. Military and federal government.
